Default H22A Civic Swap

Im looking to buy a H22A motor for a 95 civic HB, but all I've been reading on this forum are mainly bad things. Can anyone tell me anything good about doing this swap? Is this something that I could possibly do myself Or should I look at getting his gone proffesionally?

i'd do it professionally its a trick trying to get it in and its really not to great i'd go wit a b16 or the b18c1 cuz they are around same price lighter and alot easier like a straight drop in... it has more hp but heavier making it harder to handle so ya theres something good and bad haha

STOP making it seem like its 300LBS heavier, the H22 is like 80 lbs heavier than a B series engine. The B16 is over-rated, its the MOST over rated honda engine there is. The H22 is a great motor, its just a little bigger than others so it makes it a tad bit harder to work on when its its a civic. Thats all. If you can get one cheap enough, its DEF worth it. 2.2 liter makes more TQ than a 1.6 or a 1.8 obviously, and for all the newbies, TQ is what give you the Giddyup! (Giggity!_)

yeah im def. with Pete on this one..u won'tlike the b16 swap, like he said its very overrated, inless u do some stuff to it. like boost. or build the crap out of it.

i mean my d16 w/the reg bolt ons beat all b16's w/e/i/h around here..and thats sad..that shouldn't happen and no its not the drivers there all good, but yeah. b16's have no tq..the d16 has almost the same amount of tq as a b16..so yeah. idk i'd go h22a if i were you.

Im putting my h22ain 2morrow and I'll rape all b-series.

go here.. http://www.streetimports.com/product_details.asp?id=953They have the best deal. brand new mounts, axles, everything u need dude, direct drop in besides the prepping you need to do to your engine bay before dropping it in. That is were I got mine from and its SUPPER clean!
