I am driving a 1999 civic hatch gxs and just had my dust caps stolen!!Does anyone know where I can find some replacements?Oh yeah I am in Taiwan but I'm willing to have the parts shipped if necessary.

 

whats a dust caps??

 

and whats a gxs? what motor and stuff does it come with. we dont have that here. post a pic of the dust cap (or hole where it should be) if you can, then we might know what to look for.

 

i may be wrong but i think the gxs is a natural gas powered civic. the body style should be the same as a regular 99 civic.

dust caps.....hub caps maybe?

I think dust caps are the little caps taht cover the center of the (hub?) where it's greased. It's a cover to keep the (bearing?) or whatever is greased in there clean from dirt. buddy got them jacked fro his truck few months ago universal ones at your general auto parts store. try dealr should help you out! good luck!

thanx for the replies.yes, dust caps are the center pieces that protect your hub from dirt and grime,mini hub caps i guess.I was looking for original replacements for the 5 spoke brushed alloy wheels.The cap is black\silver check design with silver honda logo and 6 allen nuts.The dealer was no help but I did manage to find replacements.It's just kind of a bummer not having a matched set.
GXS is a regular gas powered civic hatch with factory racing options ,perhaps native to SE asia.
