w.t.b. stock crankshaft for 95 civic D15B7
I'm needing to find a stock crankshaft for 95 civic with the D15B7 engine. Looking to find one here from an individual or a recommendation on where to go.
Looks like somebody cross threaded the bolt maybe with an impact driver when putting the crank pulley on. They probably thought they had it tight but didn't. Now, years later and it has let itself work loose. Now my crank has a torn up key slot and is ate up pretty good on the outside as well as inside. Not to mention the pulley is total trash.
Thanks!

i have one, but i lost a rod bearing on it, so it will need a bit of work. its not totally thrashed, but it will need cleaned up a bit before you could use it, and maybe some oversized bearings.
That was pretty quick! On the crank for my D15B7 you say you spun a bearing.. did you replace the crank with another or what? Just trying to see how you ended up with it, you know, is it really salvagable, etc. Why didn't you use it.. blah blah... So, how much do you want for it? And how much to ship to 31791?
Thanks, jim94318

i will check shipping, but its out of my stock motor, and i just swapped when it spun. i really just didnt have any time or interest at the moment to fix the stock motor. i think its salvageable, but in no way am i a machinist. im betting it is though. i will get pics in the next couple of days. ill let it go pretty cheap, but shippings going to kill you. ill give it to you for like, 20 bucks + shipping. i dont really have a use for it, but ill have to lug it down to Fedex-Kinkos, or i would give it to you even cheaper.
Sounds like we are going to be doing some business. How heavy is the crank? I know they're heavy, but not really how heavy. Where are you located? Can you just get on a bathroom scale while holding it to get a good guess on the weight? A couple pictures would be good. $20.00 is the answer to a prayer my man. Thanks a bunch.
