Do you have any other mods yet? An intake manifold is a big step if you havent dont the basics yet...

Also, I deleted your other post about the same exact thing in a different section. One post is good enough[sm=icon_beat.gif]

WHOA! slow down. on a GSR the Skunk2 IM is about 7-10 hp on a dyno, so on a SOHC, it would be about 5-8. which is nothing to sneeze at, but not any 12-15 for sure. its worth it if you have the basics done though. maybe a cam and gear, and maybe some valvesprings and retainers too. that could show you about 15, though itll cost more than 200.

not necessarily before it, but it would be a good next step, once you do the IM. fast93civic has recently purchased those things, maybe PM him and see if he would tel you how much to expect to pay. but the IM would be a great idea for now, as the cam and valvetrain will cost considerably more. a rough estimate would be 700-1000.

Ook...WOW!!! Cams and stuff is expensive!! So you think it would be good to do the IM, and then work in the other stuff?? What IM would you recomend? I have seen the Skunk2 and the OBX on ebay..I have read some stuff about the OBX, if i recall right, somone said it isnt as good as the skunk2 but the S2 cost more..whats your opinion? would it be ok to get a new cam gear now?? if soo...wats a good one/cost?

get the skunk2 manifold. as for the gear, dont bother buyuing it right now, as you wont really get much, if any, power out of it, and install isnt really worth it if you are gonna be pulling the cam anyway.
