I really need d16z6 block with GOOD pistons rods and crank. I just got screwd on my last motor. What other bottom ends can i use with the sohc vtec head? what can i do to make a mini me set up? will it run faster than the stock d16z6? can some one hook me up with a good bottom end or complete motor?

 

Well, Im going to be using a d16y7 block with vitaras and eagle rods with my d16z6 head....

a d15 or d16 block will work with you z6 they bolt right up and retrofit. It wont help you any now... But I will have a d15b8 block coming out in about a month... Im working on my y7 as we speak... (well kinda...) so ... yeah... Although you will have different compression ratios with mixed heads/blocks. If i find that page about what people have experienced with compression I will let you know... You would have to tune your car though to the specs unless its really close to oem specs.. ill try to find it for ya
