18's on del sol

Default 18's on del sol

iv got a 95 del sol sohc esi, its dropped on gmax dampers and springs by 40mm. i was wondering if il get 18's on with a 35tyre and not have any probs with scrubbing? i know this is a civic forum but cudnt find a del sol forum so thought you guys could help me out, ny help would be great, iv bin told that the del sol has the same chasis as the civics?!?!

18's are going to be a little big on the car, but you can do it. 215/35/18 or 215/30/18 would be the closest to stock sizing, don't go any wider than 215 or you will start to rub the tires. I would personaly go with 17's 205/45/17 will put you almost right on with stock size and you won't have any problems with rubbing.

cheers for that, i had a fiesta mk3 with 17's on a 60mm drop and had a bit if scrubbage bt got the arches done to sort it. jus dont want all that hassle again when it comes to mot time
