Hello. I have two bad front wheel bearings that I would like to change and press myself. I know a hydraulic press is needed to do this job and I was wondering about the tons needed to do this. Would a 6 ton press be sufficient for this job? I found one on ebay for $120. Is it worth it to do myself or would it be better just to take it to a local shop to have them press the bearings? I'd like to know that it was done right. Any ideas on the cost for a local shop to press the bearings? Thanks.
