Default 2006 Honda Civic

Hey guys,

I am thinking about lowering my 2006 honda civic. I am doing it purely for looks, I plan on doing nothing to the engine. But I have heard from many people that it is not advisable to do this. Supposedly the suspension gets messed up, tires wear out quicker, and the ride become uncomfortable.

I don't plan to drop it to the ground. Just a little bit. Will the comfort of the ride really be effected? Is there no way around it? Also, does the suspension etc really get destroyed from doing this? Is there no way of doing this where you can drop the car but still keep everything working right and feeling the same?

If so, can you recommend any companies?

Thanks.
