Does anyone have a 7th gen (specifically the D17a1 bastard child) with a front upper strut bar? I am looking into buying one and have a concern about the fitment with my ebay intake.. I noticed a lot of people have the neuspeed bar, I am guessing because it comes forward and clears the intake, but I don't want to pay $100+ just for the front upper... I was hoping the $45 shipped ebay style ones would work... Any ideas/suggestions?

 

I suggest you dish out the cash for a quality one. Otherwise you are almost garunteed to have fitment problems.

 

Your going to want to get either the dc sports or the neuspeed strutbar. The ones that go straight across will hit the intake.

it may be a waste of cash to you, but you should just get an actual non-ebay intake and get the ebay strut... injen's kits (at least mine is this way) seem to be low enough for a strut... l have put a strut on to see what it would look like but i didnt cinch it down
