hello have a 1993 civic Si Hatch just got need to know if mine has abs or not cuz i need to get the cv axles for it

turn your ignition on see if theres a light in the dash that says abs --if it does --u do

 

the dash is messed up so it doesnt light up =(

 

Cant see it in the pics so Im gonna have to say no

 

where would this abs thing be and what does it look like?

 

I think only the 5G EX and LX came with ABS, but I'm not positive. The ABS D-block looks like a weird master cylinder with no reservoir and 5 or 6 brake lines running into it, usually toward the front of the car.

 

or you could find a little patch or dirt and SLAM on the brakes and feel if the pedal vibrates like crazy then you do. If all the wheels lock up and your slide then you don't same goes for patch of water instead of dirt. or take it to a mechanic and pop the hood and say does it have ABS?!?!?!?

 

Yeah its a wierd looking box with all kinds of hard lines running to and fro. I belive it would be behind one of the headlights but not 100% on that
