hey i was wondering if i should go with airbags cuz i want to be able to raise and lower my car at moments notice.. but the thing is my tires are wide so i may not have the clearance i want/ need so what can i do about that...

dude...you're driving a civic. puttin airbags on it is like putting a B16 into a charger or lowering a hummer.

 

Actually, air bag suspension does give you better handeling. I was watching HorsePower TV and they gave some Camaros to some professional race car drivers as a before and after. The drivers cut a second of thier times with air ride. If you want to get air ride so you can raise and lower your car at a moments notice or the look your prolly doing it for the wrong reason. You could get adjustable coil overs, you can't raise and lower at a moments notice but you can still do it. And its cheaper.

 

yeah i saw that show... and iv seen 3 civics with air ride. looks sweet driving around boucing. but not worth the money.

 

sorry if i came off as an ***...i was irritable this morning (afternoon i guess?) i was up until six this morning and wasnt happy when i woke up at noon.

i was going to come back and say more or less what AgentofDarkness said...basically if you're doing it to be able to change the appearence at will by raising or lowering it, you're doing it for the wrong reason.

im helping a friend install air ride in her 63 impala later this summer. sweet.
