Big Rims=Less Power?

actually...technically speaking a lightweight performance 18" will be faster than a non-performance oriented 15" because you get more distance per rotation...and if its lightweight then the rotational mass isnt as great as a non-lightweight one...meaning you will be faster with a lightweight bigger wheel.
I am going to have to go with what he said kind of. Getting a bigger tire will actually give you more top end speed but might lose a little torque because it has to get going. A smaller then 15 tire would make you go slower but take off faster. Your tires would be spinning faster but not covering as much distance meaning you would reach max rpm quicker. So i think that it kind of depends on what you want.
