Cutting stocks
I have a 98 civic EX. I'm looking to lower it a good bit. One of my buddies has a 99 DX and he had coilovers, but just the springs, and this car rode HORRIBLY. I've heard about cutting stock springs, some people say its the exact same ride as stock, some say its worse than the coilover springs. Can anyone help me out.?

RE: Cutting stocks
ya buy some right drop springs!!!!!!!!!!
cuting your springs or heating them up is BAD!!!!!!
dont cheap out on something that makes such a HUGE difference in the ride!
id sugest some Stechs.... thats what im rocken and many others on this site... close sto stock ride with a moderate drop thats still good for a daily driver.
just save up and be sure to get a alignment after ya change anything... tho if springs are new id say drive on them for about a week so the settle and your alignment will be on point then.
