Default deal on new steelies

I have been wanting to put a set of 15 inch wheels on my 91 hatch for a long time and ran in to a deal on four brand new steel 15 x 6 inch wheels. I know I can go 7 inch wide on the tires but what would be the tallest tire I could put on this car, I'd like to raise the ride height about 1 inch? I don't care about the speedo, that's all coming out with the engine/trans swap anyway, 65 series?

Thanks...your .02 is what I wanted. I'll check out that size, getting them put on in a couple of days. I weighed the new steel wheel,it weighs 18 pounds. The tire specs say the tire weighs 18 pounds. How does 36 pounds per wheel compare to alloy wheel/tire weight? I couldn't see putting an expensive set of alloys on this old car anyway but just for comparison.
