hi guys, i am concidering buying some hoosier 245 65 15" from someone cause they have come up cheap! are they worth getting, do they grip alot more?

see i have a 308 whp and 210 torque civic ek hatch turbo b16and have trouble getting traction in the low gears and in te wet like up to fourth. i am obvusly only goin to be using them on the strip.

wat time do you think i could put down with this power, i was thinkin 12.5?

are you sure that is the correct size? there's no way it'll fit under your car, that's 4" taller than stock.

 

As for how much the tires will help, I don't really know. But you really can't ask us what you will run. Just put them on, run your car, and you will know. There's too many factors.

 

i dont think its in inches the tyre from the rim its mm so its 65 mm from the rim and mine is 40 at the mo

no, the second number is the height of the sidewall as a PERCENTAGE of the treadwidth (the first number).

 

Tires too tall..... save your money.

 

Make sure your driveline is ready! There will be severe ammounts of traction and parts will break easier with the added stresses...
