hi every1, i got a 95 civic ex coupe

just bought 17inch rims with 205/40/17 tires

1. how much drop can i get without any rubbing going on around my fender?

2. what would be a cheap way to drop my car .5 to 2-3 inches? spending less than 200-300$

if you feel lucky and know how to remove your suspension you can do it for that much.. You can get an eBay coilover kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-95...09982111QQrdZ1

If you do it this was your shocks wioll go out if you don't upgrade them soon. I took this route and they work great, if you install them properly that is.

OR
You can get a setup with shock and coilovers together:

I don't personally know the results you can get from these.

Otherwise, to get full coilovers, it's about 700 dollars:

i had about a 2" drop when i had my 17s on and you can see it in my gallery. i had 45s as tires.
for a drop, i would suggest just getting some h and r sport springs, it would give you a 1.5" drop and then you need to get struts as well. kyb or any other brand would be good as well.

oh, you can get lowering springs as well. You can't adjust those though, so I don't like 'em.

i have Skunk2 springs on stock struts and it works fine. i have 17s with 205/40 tires too. Stock struts are fine as long as you keep spirited driving to rare occasions and avoid as many bumps as you can
