Default E-brake adjustment

I recently replaced all brake pads. I adjusted my e-brake but the right side is much tighter. How do I loosen it up? On the caliper?

One side being tighter then the other side sounds like you have a problem. Have you checked your brakes and made sure they are both working? If the brakes are okay check your ebrake cables and make sure they are ok. I just replaced my ebrake cables and they are only adjustable as a pair (inside the car). Do you have drum or disk brakes? I can send you a link to the maintenance manuals later tonight. Sounds like you need to put it in the air (lift or jack stands) and do some trouble shooting.

Look in the maintenance manual. You should be able to adjust the cables so that they grab about equally. Check your pads and make sure they are installed correctly (rear). It just takes a little time and patience to get it right.
