usually about $30 bucks a side. Which can give you an idea of what a shop would charge

Thanks for the response. That sounds like a very reasonable price.

ok, well I called up a machanic that has his shop right in his garage, he worked on my Mazda RX-7 a couple times. Was just curious what he would charge because he's usually a lot cheaper than anyone I know. He said he could do it for me for $162! Versus $445 from the local shop here in town. What a difference! That's less than I can find the parts for retail. He's a pretty awesome machanic too, never had a problem, I just didnt relize it would have been that much of a difference. I got a new clutch installed through him too for $300 instead of paying over $600 from anywhere else. I dont think he charges much for the parts cuz he gets them wholesale and to be honest I dont really think it takes much to replace a bearing and hub on one side if you have done it forever.
