Well, first off, my Ground Control coilovers came today! Ordered them two weeks ago, and they arrived today... now I just have to order the struts (KYB AGX), which I'll do friday when I get paid, and get some spring compressors,and I can put everything on.

But anyway... to anybody who has GC coilovers:
did yours come with an adjusting wrench? I ordered directly from http://www.ground-control.com/and they didn't come with the wrench needed to adjust the spring height... the only wrench they came with was an allen wrench used to tighten up the clamping screw. Should it have come with the wrench?

 

that IS the wrench you need to adjust the spring height. [8D] You just loosen that, and turn the spring perch by hand, then tighten the set screw once you have it where you want it.

 

got a pic of the tool? i'd like to see..

 

it's literally just an allen wrench. I don't think I have a picture of mine. It's some standard size too, so when you lose it you can just pick up a new one... it's all you need to adjust the height. none of those weird claw-shaped coilover wrenches and those two collars you have to jam together.... i <3 ground controls [8D]

 

oic cool. ya i hate the claw things, esp when they keep falling off when trying to unlock the collars and when u tighten the collars to much, its takes a crap load of force to unlock em[:@]

 

Okay, thanks... I knew most coilovers used that claw-type wrench... I figured since the GC's have what look like slots for that kind of wrench they must use them... I guess that's what I get for assuming lol. Thanks.
