I found a factory GSR front strut bar on my local craigslist for $30 and they say it will fit my eg. does anyone know? and is it worth it?

 

Test fit it? and buy it if it works.

 

i was looking online and the GSR strut bar has two spots where it is bolted over the strut towers and the are vertical if you were to stand in front of the car. but the eg has two bolts opposite of eachother on around the strut tower which means only one bolt would hold the bar on either side is my guess. i might take a look if i have the time

 

well if its local just ask him if you could test fit it.
just lay it up in your engine bay and if it fits then just drill some holes in the metal where ever and bolt it in. you can always reinforce the bottom side with your own scrap piece of metal from bolt to bolt if your worried about its strength.
