Default HELP! Spring question

Hello. I just bought a 92 HB today - everything looked stock except for it being lowered. Although it has a salvage title, it looks clean and only has 104K miles. Anyway, I drove it from San Diego to home - around 100 miles and noticed a "kinda rubbing sound". I checked it and true enough, the tire was hitting fender got got cosmetic shredding. I took it to SuperAutobacs so I can have it rolled for now until I get new wheels and tires. However, we found out that it cannot be rolled because the bonding was too thick. It was on the side that was in an accident.

I was given these options:

1) Go to a body shop and ask them if they can fix the fender bonding (shave or cut it?) and have it rolled then get new wheels and tires and alignment. OR

2) Change the springs to a stiffer and closer to OEM drop height and have it aligned.

Personally, I think I would rather change the springs and maybe the shocks instead of taking it to a body shop. This might be a cheaper way to fix my problem.

What do you guys think? What other options do I have? What springs should I get? Struts? What wheels & tires should I go?

BTW - it has the OEM 13" wheel.

Your expert advise is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

personally, i'd get some springs that arent as low. Also, you could look into a wheel with a higher offset that will make the wheel sit inside the wheelwell more... just a suggestion.

Thanks for your suggestion. Will the Eibach Pro kit work? or should I just get this:

Another good point is getting a higher offset which I think I will consider. I guess, if I go this way, I have to get coilovers to accomodate the offset.

Thank you!!!

If you decide to get dropzone i would go with Springs instead of coilovers.
