re: cracked exhaust manifold....this is a common problem on civics...mine's cracked too, but not leaking YET *crosses fingers* I just hope I can save enough pennies to do a full header/exhaust before it blows on me

this is especially true of the catalytic converter/header manifold on the 6th gen DX/LX/HX models...

I recently replaced mine with a whole new system.

FYI, to get proper fitment, the all-in-one thing will be around $580

580? for what all parts? can u list what u did?

umm just got my car back from the mechanic today and its much smoother sounding right now but its still ragged.. i DONT KNOW WHYYY arggggh and its killing me to death!!! do u guys have any ideas?
anyways got a new exhaust manifold and oil change for 320 dollars.. pretty good deal....

but ya... i sooo miss my old civic engine noise (completely unmodded) - high pitched and smooth sounding... sighhhhhhhh. this new one sucks compared to it. oh well, its a manual.

any reccomendations?

btw kincaid, i personally like the 8 spoke ones..
