yeah you're right - i just went out to tighten my lugs and to my suprise they werent tight at all!! They sure felt tight yesterday! i was still able to tight them a lot and i didn't use too my force (since I'm pretty weak). But what a difference! the wobbling has stopped!! I'll be sure to tighten them again tomrorow before i go on the freeway. I decided to not get the torque wrench and put that money on my alignment and have the alignment place just torque wrench it for me...

thanks

Make sure you tighten them in the star pattern and then go back to the first one you started with and check it before moving to the next wheel

if you're gonna be working on your car a lot, you should invest in a torque wrench anyway. Overtightening a valve cover bolt and having it snap off sucks.

though, get a torque wrench after you get an alignment, the alignment's more important.

and BTW, i don't think any shop is actually going to get out the torque wrench when putting on your lug nuts... they just use an impact wrench.

Well, I know for a fact that at all the firestone shops i've been to they use one, and dobbs and also the Frank Leta Honda by me at every place we used torque wrenchs after using an impact wrench
I used to work at Firestone and Dobbs so that's how I know they use them, and the Honda dealership by me always uses them (if you watch them work you'll see)

ya me either never seen any shop get the torque wrench out
but I will ask the guy that does my alignment to use the wrench.

I don't really work on my car a lot, if at all - you can probably tell...
adjusting the coilovers was just a one time thing probably, since im really happy with the height right now. But I will look into getting one when money isnt too tight.
