i just bought my car and the steering wheel gets real hard when doing slow turns or making u turns i think its the power steering does anyone know how to fix

 

check the power fluid steering level.

if your car's making funny noises when you turn, then you might need to have it checked (power steering pump?).

 

so just by adding more fluid it should lightin up

 

I'm used to driving my old 91 4WD Turbo Legacy, and I honestly drove most of the time with my knees.

I have to turn the wheel probably twice as much as the legacy to get the same amount of effect on the road, I was kind of dissapointed at first, but figured it was just the way the car was made.
