Default LCA Bushing Replacement

I am trying to replace my front LCA bushings. I have read the DIY's on a couple of sites and felt confident I could do this. It is a 93 civic coupe. The forward pivot bushing has been cut out and i have cut through the sleeve 4 times now so it is in quarters. I t still will not come out. I have tried to chisel it out... the soft metal just shears away... Anyway I was just wondering if anyone else has had major problems getting these sleeves out.

try using a socket just a hair smaller than the hole (so about the same size as the sleeze) and a hammer. It's how I got the sleeves out of my rear LCAs

It's ghetto but it works.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot... find something to put the lca on while you're hammering so the sleeve can just drop out the bottom of the lca. Otherwise, I doubt it'll come out easy.

did u cut the sleeve all the way thru? one cut all the way thru the sleeve should be enough to get it out. when i did it, the first couple sleeves were tough to get out cuz i didnt saw thru the sleeves enough, even when making a couple cuts. after that i cut completely thru the sleeve, even nicked the actual arm itself just a bit, and they practically fell out..
