RE: lower spring
Check out Skunk2's site. You enter your ride in and they give you a list of parts to match it. A set im gonna get drop about that, maybe a little more. Skunk2 has really god reliabilty and i have a couple hond FREAK buddies that are on thier second or third rebuilds and use Skunk2 and a couple other companies exclusively.

^ your friends are skunk2 fanboys.
skunk2 isn't a bad brand at all, but I've heard they're pretty much hit or miss on quality. Ground Control makes awesome coilover sleeves for the same price as skunk2 (except GC gives you the option of choosing your own spring rates). Also, from what I've heard, Tien makes some awesome full coilovers.

RE: lower spring
Yeah, the only downside to tien that I know of is that I don't believe they make coilover sleeves, just full coilovers... so it's basically all or nothing (you get to choose between lowering springs, which you already have the S-techs, or full coilovers, and I think their absolute cheapest coilover set is around $1,000)
