i ask ppl from work and they dont help at all but anyways i got a 98 4dr civic stock suspennsion and i have 17*7 rims on there now i was wondering if i could lower an inch without any rubbing problems well since i have a 4 dr i carry some friends around and when i turn u hear it rub is there a way to go around this problem like a special spring or whatever?? thanks

If you are rubbing on 17s already, and you are not lowered, then something's either gotta be wrong with your current suspension, or the wheel/tire combo you're running isn't correct.
What size tire and wheel? What's the offset?

yeah getting the fenders rolled would help...but hes not lowered at the moment and he should not be rubbing with his stock suspension..somthing gotta be wrong..

Ya man I don't think that you are rubbing.. That might be something else.. one of my buddys has a eg h/b lowerreally low and with 17 he only rubs when the wheel is cranked over almost the whole way

are your mud covers inside the wheel wells attached? If they're hanging low that could be the rubbing...

If im going for a TEIN flex or basic damper on a 00 ex, will it lower? and rub?

they are adjustable so no you wont^^^ I lowered my car 3 inches on 15s and the only time i rubbed is when i turn as hard as it will go. on the plastic bolts holding the fender well skirt on
