your shocks are probably blown, and need to be replaced

p.s. next time, start your own thread instead of hijacking someone else's

well what size are your tires?

for 17s most people/and me im runnen 205-40-17s the larger the tire the easier it is to rub

but your shocks could be blown or weak making it even worse...

just check your tires size cause im runnen that size and ive hit some preaty big dips in the road with them and never rubbed em yet...

i got 18s on a stock suspension and i have no rub what-so-ever and didnt roll fenders either. Just for reference my tires are 215/35-18 bfg scorchers and i could probably handle an 3/4 to 1inch drop before rubbing while turning. So check your tire size, post it here, and see what ya get for an answer. Chances are your suspension is shot, someone cut the springs if its already lowered and its rubbing, or your tire size is ok for a different car but not for this one.

My rim is only 14 Inches, and I dont think rim with 17" can easily rubbing. I've checked with mechanic and he said it might be caused by absorber (shock), and need to be replaced. However I need to get advice whether to change the spring or absorber. 2 back absorbers need to be changed and it will cost me 350 per pair (made from Japan). Is this a fair price with Japan absorber?
