if ur gena lower ur car about 2", get some decent aftermarket shocks. esp if ur still on original 12yr old shocks.

(I haven't heard of any problems with the upper/lower lca bolts).
ALL the LCA bolts can get stuck. (there's no such thing as an upper LCA bolt) When they get stuck, the problem is not just the bolt, but the bushing that it's seized in... if you want to be REALLY prepared you get new LCAs or new bushings before you start.

^ I meant the bolts on the ends of the LCA's... and I've never really heard of anybody having problems with them (that's not to say it never happens). I ended up replacing all the bolts and bushings in the LCA's anyway... and +1 on the "all the bolts/bushings" thing... it's an extra $60 or so to tack onto the total cost of the suspension work.

i found out that mine were to when i had to replace my passenger side LCA when it snaped

LCA=Lower control arm. Aka,the armthat the bottom of your strut mounts to.

I stand corrected. I guess nobody ever complains about it... all I ever hear is about the shock-mount bolt/bushing seizing up.
