Lowering, suspension question

Lowering, suspension question
Ok, so basically I do not know the slightest thing about what to do about suspension on a car, I read all of the suspension info that was posted on the "links to useful suspension info" thread but still am highly confused. After reading other threads i see a lot of people reccomending Tein S-tech springs to lower a car. I have a '99 Civic EX and just want it lowered enough to look good with 16" rims and 205/40 tires. Are the springs all i need? or do i need any other parts to do this. I want to do it right the first time so I am willing to spend extra to get it done right. I rarely race the car, so i am basically just looking for something to help on the street rather than the track.
Thanks guys

RE: Lowering, suspension question
you can get away with just getting the S-techs. However, it's probably a good idea to get new shocks since shorter springs will tend to blow out your stock shocks eventually. Also, you'll probably want new rear Lower Control Arm (LCA) bolts, since there's probably about a 90% chance that your stock LCA bolts will be completely seized and break when you try to remove them.
