Default Need rear struts, compatibility question

99 Civic EX, guy who owned car before me installed Eibach Pro Kit Step 1 Springs, but now one of the rear struts is blown, and I'm just not sure which struts to get because the springs make the car almost 2 inches lower, and I think thats why the strut blew in the first place.

Any ideas on which brands/models go good with that kit?

Really? None of you have ANY insight into which brands of struts (damper units) will work well on lowered civics?

I use the car for street and highway driving, and I don't race it so I'm not looking for really expensive racing struts, but I don't want to just by OEM or cheap ones that will blow with the aftermarket springs.

Koni struts Ground control coil overs work well. Check them out. I only mess with 1 piece coil overs where the strut and spring/coil over are all one piece.
