Default New gear for the new civic

Ok guys couple things I am looking to do. I want to get some new wheels prob 18's maybe 17's not sure yet for my new civic. I have the 05 LX and its in white. Anyone have some opinions on sizes and colors they have scene on 7th gen white civics?

Also I see alot of talk about new strut bars and what not and read a little bit about buying the cheap ebay one. Anyone have a preferred seller or type? A link would be great.

Dont think I am going to do my suspension for a while though. Will having those new wheels and tires have an issue if the car is not lowered?

I personally have 18's on my 01 and I love em. Most opinions I've heard say dont go bigger than 17 on a 7th gen but like I said I love my 18s, and neverhad any problems until I lowered it. Still no rubbing just some issues with camber and tires dying. As for styles... I think the ITR style white wheels look really nice on white 7th gens. I also had an ebay strut bar. I had to take it off because it rattled on my intake. It got pretty bad and started beating a hole inthe aluminum pipe, andIcould never it adjusted toquit,so out with the bar. Thats just my two pennies....and welcome to the wonderful world of the d17

id say lower your car before you put wheels on it in my opinion a 7th gen on 17"s or 18"s looks like your car is lifted which looks dumb on a civic

ah good insight. I probably should get it all done atonce. I wish my stech tien springs from my 2000 would work for this car I bought them but did not put them on yet because I was waiting to get some toticko whites to do with them. Guess I will have to sell them to someone or ebay.....
