installed my koni and gc's back in aug. and i even pulled up the DIY on H-T and clubcivic and i still managed to mess it up. but heres the problem while crusin at whatever speed or even more when i hit a bump in the road i could hear the big metal washer hitting the jamnuts like its rumbling in there, ( i tried to tighten the jamnuts after but they are already tight) is there a step that i missed help guys!! i remember not putting tape around the top of the retaining ring

 

I think I know your problem... you left out a stopper or didnt install it right. Basiclaly you have to take it off and apart again. Post a pick of the struts... i want to see how far they are sticking out of the mount

 

i have another question when i went to search for some write ups i noticed that some ppl don't put the spring seat on? is there a reason for this?? but i will take a pic as soon as i can thanks
