Default Is this offset ok?

17x7 rim with a 42mm offset for a 97 civic coupe. Would a 40mm offset fit also?

Edit: One more thing i forgot, how much does a stock 14" steel rim weigh? I already know how much my tires weigh but i kinda want to keep all the weights near the same when i upgrade.

17x7 +42mm is a dead on fit.....go 4 it

Well the rims that im getting soon has a +40mm offset but im not seeing much of a difference with 2 millimeters. They are getting wrapped in 205/40 tires though.

both will fit no problems... 40 offset will probably look a little bit better.
