Default Polyurethane bushing stupid ?

Alright, ordered some Polyurethane bushings for my shocks/struts and tried to unbolt the bolt on the top of the shock in the attachment and the bolt just kept spinning. Before I go any further, is there anything else I need to do or can I just clamp it down so it stops spinning? Don't want something crazy like my car fallin' on my foot!!! (unlikely, but you know what I mean)

an allen wrench fits in the center of that rod. do that and use a wrench to break the nut loose.
