3-brake no longer responding.. at all. i assume the cable is just stretched but i dont want to tackle a project like that myself.
what kind of place would be able to take on that repair?

 

Under the vanity cover for the E-brake handle is a metal plate (equalizer). Two cables come from the back, and one rod/bolt from the handle itself. Turn that single nut from the handle to tighten it. Couple turns at a time. This may buy you some time. Here is a picture of what lives in the rear drums.
This is a very simplified talk about brake adjustments. Get a manual and learn before playing to much with the brakes. You can do it yourself.....or any garage should be able to help you.
