rear disc conversion

Default rear disc conversion

I'm new to the forum, just wanted to know what and how I could convert my 86 civic si to rear disc brakes. thanks

yea all u need really is buy all the parts rotor calipers etc.... and install it that what my buddy said all he had 2 do to my old hatch my newer civic i just got like 2 weeks ago already has drilled and slotted rotors on back and front it was drum in the back he did the conversion

an 86 may or may not be a different story... Did they make any 86 civics with rear disks? I don't know if teggies were around back than...

they had integras back then and they did have rear disc....

Im not sure if the 84-87 crx is the same as the 3rd gen civics...but there are a couple pages on how to do the swap on an 84-87 crx...
