aight i have a 95 dx with ghetto *** drum brakes in the rear, now i found a guy on a local honda forum selling the converion to disk for the rear, they are out of a 95 civic as well, its got everything(brake lines,shocks,lca,ect) everything to just plug and play though im going to get rid of all that anyway, but he wants $200 for everything. should i jump on that???

 

if you have the money, go for it. seems like a pretty good deal. what condition though?

you'll probably end up needing the correct proportioning valve, master cylinder, and probably booster.

 

yeah i heard i would need a new proportioning valve(40/40) off of the si or 95 teggy......do you know if i need a new master cylinder/booster, which kind i would need?

 

you don't need any of them, but you'll get the most out of the system if you get the correct proportioning valve. as for the master cylinder and booster, they're not needed, but with a larger master cylinder, you'll have more clamp and braking power. which is always a plus. but really, all you'll need is that with the integra ebrake cables, and proportioning valve from the teg or an si. you'll see a little bump in braking power.
