Default rear strut

do they make a rear strut bar that goes in the trunk, that also holds a sub box, or goes around a sub box?

Default RE: rear strut

While that would be quite possibly the coolest thing to hit the import scene yet, no I’ve never seen or heard of one. If there was, it wouldn't be worth it at all because it would lack the strength and integritythat the traditional strut bar provides. They are made the way they are to maximize their strength to stop body bending. The best path to do this is from point A (strut) directly to point B (other strut). Any other path (around a sub box) would decrease the potential strength.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to stabilize your subs try this: Put two somewhat long screws in the lower left and right corners of the front on the box. Screw the screws in so that they are sticking out about ¼”. Get a medium/long bungee cord. Hook one end somewhere in the inside of the trunk on top on one side. Stretch it down and around the first screw head. Pull it snug. Now pull it around the other screw and pull it snug. Then, hook the other end somewhere in the inside of the trunk on the other side on top. Finally, get the portions of the bungee cord that extend from a hook to the screw as tight as possible (this will leave the portion from screw to screw somewhat loose, that’s okay.). Now, your subs aren’t going anywhere.
