Default ride quality

I have over 120,000 miles on my civic and the ride can be alot smoother.

What should i need to replace to have my car riding smooth again?

Springs/shocks would probably help ALOT.. Or, Coilovers.

....gas shocks (like KYBs) and lighter wheels. (12 lbs or less for 15s and 16 lbs or less for 16s)

If you already have 17s or 18s, get 16s or 15s and your ride will definitely improve.

coilovers will make the ride rough
for max comfort use stock springs, aftermarket ones are normally stiffer than stock

new shocks should definitely increase comfort, as well as smaller rims with tires that have a bigger sidewall

for comfort, oem is definatly more on the comfortable side. any thing besides stock will either not ride as good, be expensive, or not fit too well. honda did an excelent job on the suspension of these cars. there is a huge aftermarket for performance shocks and coilovers and all that but if you want no hassle comfort go O.E.M.

kyb gr2 shocks are suppose to be just like stock but better quality and they can handle lowering springs if you ever decide to go that route
kyb AGX shocks are stiffness adjustable (not to be confused with height adjustable). I have them, and you can adjust them to pretty soft. I recommend these so you can choose exactly how soft you want them to be, there are 4 settings.
