s-techs
what's up peoples, first, I would like to thank all for the usefull info that is postwd on this forum. people like me that search a lot really do value the input that is posted. well I have a 96 civic coupe with stock shocks and springs with aftermarket wheels. I want to drop the coupe and I read a lot about the stechs. my question is if I install them would I have tochange trhe shocks? would I need to get cambers? and is there anny one that just have the springs and maybe camber that could let me know how thwere car ride and how long as it been installed and do they have any problems with them. I know this is a lot but I would apreeciate rhe info. thanks.
k..you dont NEED new shocks but they are highly recommended by most people because the shocks are compressed more with the smaller spring, you should get a camber kit...i am riding tein s-tecks with stock shocks and no camber kit, i have no camber problems, and i live the ride, its amazing...this questions been asked lots of time, use search..and with that, here are the links to people who have installed them on here

its like mill$ said...stechs are designed to work with stock shocks...and just ride for a while...keep a look out on your tires...make sure they stay straight etc... not like this \---/ or like this, /---\ they should be like this |---|. a lot of people on here just have s techs, no after market shocks or camber kit and it works just fine
on the ebay buyer guide it said somethin along the lines of, the shocks are compressed more and will wear out quicker with the lowering springs. ( the stock shocks) Is this true or are they trying to saving themselves from lawsuits and stuff. THIS IS ONE VERY HARD QUESTION TO ANSWER. THERE ARE SO MANY ANSWERS.
thats true, there is alot of answer to this question. i just want an answer that won't casue me to spend more money in the long run. i got messed up when i had my wheels put on my car. and i ended up spending 200 dollars more because the idot at the shop didn't ballance the wheels right, and cause me to replace both my inner tie rods and boot because it was shaking too much. and used the air gun to tighn the bolts and then i couldn't getthem off and they messed up one of my studs. regardless i will be doing this myself. i got peoples to help me out with it if i need anyhelp. i am prepared to change the shocks if i have to, so its not an issue i just need to get the money together.
