Strut tower bars are meant to stop body flex. Since our cars obviously don't have solid frames there's a lot of twisting at high speed turns. With my car as low as it is, with my AGX shocks at the highest stiffness, when I go up like my driveway I have to go on an angle, and I can hear my car flexing a bit. The angle causes everything to creak because the body is not solid. So by putting the bars across, it tightens up the strut towers and gives less room for flexing. Ebay ones do the trick, but for the bling factor Carbing, Tenzo R, Spoon (if you can find em haha), Neuspeed, DC, all make legit ones. They are a lot beefier and more year specific.

And I put Blox lca in cause they look baller. I bought mine because I expected my lca bolts to snap, and that way I could trash the bushings and burn the bolts out on the stock ones. Amazingly not a single bolt broke. And if you are slamming your car you need camber kit up front. The back I just did washers to push out the camber. But if you are slammed, the front is where all the rubbage will happen. When I first lowered my car I couldn't do a full uturn because I'd rub the fender lining on the outside, yes I rubbed on steelies haha. So I threw some negative on my camber and I don't rub anymore. Hopefully I'll get some Rotas in a week or so, see if I can stay as low as I am now without rubbing.

First LCA or Lower Control Arms, I think what are purpose of aftermarket ones.

Seconds what do Camber Kits do and where all do they go?

And finally Struts for your engine and rear?

Thanks!
LCA's- Aftermarkets LCA's have a few benefits. Lighter, polyurethane bushings or spherical bushings, and some have multiple swaybar endlink mounting points for finer tuning of the suspension. On older generations such as the 5th gens(92-95), we need aftermarket LCA's in the rear in able to install a rear swaybar because the stock LCA's do not have mounting holes. As for your generation and newer('96+), you don't necessarily need to worry about them as the stock LCA's have mounting holes. BUT, again, some people install them either to look good or to get some performance out of the suspension.

Camber kits- Here is what camber means. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Camber_angle. A camber kit fixes this angle in the wheels thus preventing any issues with tire wear. In some cases, you do not need a camber kit, a simple alignment could be enough to prevent any serious tread wear.

Struts- First, struts are different that shocks. Most newer Honda's use what's called a McPherson Strut suspension on the front of the car: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacPherson_strut. On the rear some may have a Torsion Beam Suspension: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torsion_beam. And Older Honda's use a Double Wishbone Suspension which uses shocks(what is on your generation Civic): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_wishbone.

You also mention engine. I'm assume you're referring to engine dampers?(The gold part in the pic)

These just help reduce engine movement effectively reducing some wheel hop. They usually make the car vibrate a bit more, some people don't like them very much just due to interior comfort.

LCA's are not JUST bling. As mentioned above, the real advantage is that many come with better bushings and some come with multiple endlink mounting points.

You don't need LCA's at all on your car, more a preference for looks or if you're looking to gain some performance out of them. As I said, camber kits in most cases on older generations can be avoided.

Yes a "full" coilover kit should have everything needed just to bolt up and go.

Strut bars just tie one strut tower to the other and help reduce a tiny bit of body flex. The effect is minimal but just barely noticeable. For the price and effectiveness of eBay ones, it's somewhat worth it.

They reduce flex, not body roll. It just feels like there's less body roll. Let someone drive you're car around a tight turn without and then with the strut bars while standing outside and watching it, you'll see the same amount of body roll still there.
