Default Skunk 2 pro S coilovers... worth it?

I found a guy locally who is selling a set of Skunk2 pro S full coilovers for $400 with less than 2,000 miles on them. I currently have Tokico HP springs and shocks and don't like them because the ride is too soft and the back sits too low (I have a sedan). Does anyone know if these are good coils? I was going to just save up and buy some Ground Controls and Koni Yellows, what's your opinion, should I still do that or just buy these?

The skunk2 Full coilovers are good if they aren't molested. Why would someone buy $800 full coilovers, use them for probably 3 months then decide to sell them for half of what they paid for them?! Sounds WAY too fishy. I usually do not buy used suspension parts, too risky.

I'm actually riding on Skunk2 Coilover (sleeves, not full) with KYB AGX's. But GC and Koni is also a good combo.

im running them, they ride stiff as a board, rear tires sits 1 1/2 inches from fender, if i go any lower the spring sits loose in the shock if on a lift so i stopped there, my fronts are 3/4" off fender...

they are a pain to adjust, and really really really stiff, specially rollin on 205/40/17's
you can get them new for $525 if you shop around thats what i paid at least...

Make sure you get a camber kit, if you dont have one already, i wore off the inside of my winter meats only and they still look brand new on the outside.

Cool thanks for that info. And he's selling them cheap because he wrecked his car. He's also selling some really nice Rota Slips but unfortunetly I only have enough $ for one or the other, so suspension it is!
