Spray Can Paint Job
Posting due to dead links. My stock EX wheels have a lot of curb lash and I am wanting to paint them. Sand, primer, base coat, clear coat.. I have the basics down BUT I am having trouble picturing what color. White, gun metal or stock color? Does anyone have pics that could show this? or where I could find pics? I have a green civic. Thanks.

I like the idea of white wheels but here are my two concerns 1) I love the difference in boldness with the red or blue civics.. is green a bold enough color? 2) keep in mind they are stock alloys.. is it going to end up looking cheap?
Anybody of photoshop or somethin?
On a side note I'm adding rainbow flashing sidemarkers today.. pretty excited

As long as they arnt steelies, I think the white will look good. It prolly will not be extremely bold, but thats what appeals to me. green can pull it off and still be subtle. If you want a little more boldness, you could always paint the H red on the center caps.
Subtle and stylish can get you attention too, but just a different type of attention than bold and flashy. I guess it depends on what you are going for.
Here are a couple examples i found:

That helps a lot Maximus. I was also worried since they weren't rims. I don't want it to be super flashy as it is a stock Civic.. friends keep tryin to lower it.. it's just not practical where I live. I like the white. And I think.. a couple of coats it could be bold enough. I just don't like the idea of blurry or smoky white.
