Default Stabilizer bar

Hi, I recently removed my stabiliizer bar when I changed out my lower control arms in the rear. Just wondering if anyone knew how this might affect my handling. Thanks.

not in a positive way I'm sure. What year and model do you have? I had a 94 EX which had no rear stabilized bar...why did you remove it anyway?

I have a 00 civic si. I didn't plan on removing it, but it was so rusted that I had to remove the stabilizer bar along with the old lower control arms to install the new control arms. I was curious though because if I want to re-install the stabilizer bar, I will need to order the links (which link the stabilizer bar to the LCA) and wasn't sure if it was even worth the effort. From what I've heard though, most other model civics don't even come with the stabilizer bar, so I will probably not worry about it. Thanks for any input though.

the car will probably understeer more now, because the rear bar usually is there to reduce understeer. but drivng normal on the street, you won't notice a difference. in my jeep with 5' lift, i removed both bars for more articulation, and on the street everytime i turn it feels like my car is going to roll becasue of so much body roll.

If its off already, why don't you upgrade it while you're at it?

Yeah, I might do that. I haven't seen any aftermarket ones yet though.
