I measured the height myself twice and it has exactly the same on each side...made a friend measure it in case I forgot how to measure stuff, and he got the same results...they prolly wanted to charge me some extra $$$...about the shaking it is still there...Dunno what else to do...
So they were trying to rip you off.
Take the wheels to a different shop and get the tires balanced.
Yup, that's possible...just 'cause they sell you the tires, they give ya free balance and alignment...will take the car to another shop to see what they say...[&:]

I've never heard of this. Could you explain the difference?

I worked at a place that did wheel balancing. They mounted the wheel onto the machine. Then, the machine spun the wheel around really fast. After it got its readings, the wheel was stopped. Then, the operator slowly spun the wheel around manually, when it got to certain part of the wheel, the machine's display lit up and gave a reading of which weight to insert into the wheel. The operator got a wheel weight and attached it to the wheel (where indicated by an arrow). He keeps on doing this until he's spun the wheel around 360 degrees.

Man, I owe you a beer or two!!! You'll have to come down to the Dominican Republic to pay them to ya
I went to a different shop and guess what? They told me that the car did not have any front end issues and they aligned the car [:@]. They took all 4 wheels and ALL of them were improperly balanced[:@]. I saw the balancing machine results on all 4 wheels myself. They balanced all wheels and the car is a champ again. Went to a hwy and drove the car all the way up to 100 and stayed at that speed for about 10-15 secs. and no shake and no pull!!!
Thanks!!!
