Default Strange noise from RF

I have an '06 Si coupe.

When the temp is below 50, I hear a squeak/groan from the RF. I don't hear it hitting bumps as much as when the RF hits depressions in the pavement. When the temps warm up the squeak tends to go away, but there is still a groan/thumping sound. The dealer says it's a strut noise, not to worry. I'm wondering if its front sway bar bushings.

Anyone else experience anything like this?

Any suggestions on what to look for?

Thanks!

Rich

If I were you, I'd tell the dealership that the noise is not normal nor acceptable and that they should replace the strut under warranty.

Sounds too me like the upper strut mount. Take it to thedealer and say, "you will fix this."

Hmmm.... thanks for the comments.

I'll take a run at the dealer, but I don't hold much hope. Its out of warranty on time and miles, and I bought it pre-owned.

ohhh thats lame. ya I have the same problem on my car i have 3/25 ball bearings....... but it really isn't hurting anything. If you happen to have money laying around and want to get it fixed go for it but until then it will just be annoying.
