Unhappy sway bar??

when im driving my car, mainly anywhere above 30-35 mph, the car feels unstable. it has the ping pong effect goin on, where it is bouncing back and forth. the car is still drivable, it just looks like im drunk goin 65-70 down the high way. i would say it feels more like the rear is causing it, but im unsure. my first guess would be the sway bar or sway bar bushings. i just got tires on it with about 30% tread left on them, i know they arent the best but the tires on the car were slicks. this helped a little bit, but not to much. any ideas? if it is the sway bar, where can i get a better one than stock for relatively cheap?

I doubt it's the sway bar causing a wander. All a sway bar does is twist when you turn to resist body roll. I'd say go have your car aligned. Chances are, the alignment is just out of whack. If the alignment is good and the wander is still there (or the alignment can't be brought back to factory specs), then I'd look at replacing parts.
