Default Sway bar links?????

Hello My sway bar links need to be changed. I was wondering if this is something I could do myself. I have the parts and it seems pretty straight forward and I even purchased new nuts.
Question:if I do the installation, do the nuts have to be installe with Locktite?

Any Info on doing this job would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
Doug

I don't know why you say they "need" to be changed. It's not something that breaks down. The bushings for the end links could be updated with polyurethane ones though.

No loctite is needed. Torque the nuts down to the recommended tension.

Don't forget to put the plate/washers in the correct order. If you don't the bolt is going to end up in the middle of the bushing and then you gotta pry the bushing off and start all over again. Its not really that hard of a job. Sway bars usually don't go bad, but if you are going to get a new one look into buying a performance sway bar with poly bushings.
