Default Tein Basics Coilovers

I just bought some Tein type basics online.

I'm a big fan of Tein, but I have heard mixed reviews with these coilovers.

Going to put them on next week, what are everyones thoughts about this set up?

It's decent for the price. Pretty good for slamming the car if you want but won't be super dumped to the ground. Ride is good. Performance wise they suck but if you just want to lower the car you'll be fine.

I gotcha.

for the past two years, I have been riding on the stock suspension with Tein lowring springs.

So i'm guessing the ride quality is going to be a night and day difference.

i wouldn't recommend slamming with tein basics as well. assuming you had tein s-techs or h-techs, IMO the ride would be stiffer compared to those. oh and something that i dont know if you care but tein basics are height adjustable but not dampening adjustable.

why would you by a product and then ask people there opinions on it? I feel like this question should have been asked before you purchased the coilovers. Sorry, this had nothing to do with your question but maybe something to think about next time you want to buy something.

I am apart of another civic forum and I was talking to people on there about the coilovers before i bought them.

I just posted here to get a few additional opinions.

Other wise if I asked questions after I bought them, then yes your right I would be a complete idiot lol.

And yeah i Dont plan on slamming the car with these, just getting a 2 inch drop would be fine with me.
